Invoice Completed Work Items
Send an invoice from a completed work item, with task details and proof of completion already carried over.
Introduction
This video shows how to invoice a completed work item in Einsys.
Once a work item has been completed, the invoice can be created directly from the completed work item. The work item details, price, VAT rate, currency, and proof of completion can be reviewed before the invoice is sent to the customer.
This helps teams move from completed work to invoicing without copying information between different systems.
What the video shows
- Open a completed work item from the Scheduler or from List view.
- Review the completed work item details.
- Check the proof of completion if proof was required for the task.
- Review the VAT rate, price, currency, and supporting information.
- Confirm that the invoice fields are pre-populated with the information added when the work item was created.
- Confirm that proof of completion and supporting documents are carried over.
- Click Send Invoice at the bottom of the page.
- Open a completed work item from the Scheduler by double-clicking it, or by right-clicking and opening the work item.
- Review the details again from the Scheduler workflow.
- Click Send Invoice.
- The customer receives the invoice by email, together with the proof of completion and supporting documents.
Why this matters
Completed work often needs to be invoiced quickly and accurately.
By connecting work items with invoicing, Einsys helps teams avoid re-entering the same information after the job is finished. Details added during work item creation can be reused, and proof of completion can be carried into the invoice workflow.
This makes the process simpler: complete the work, review the details, and send the invoice from the same connected workflow.
For teams managing office work, field work, transport jobs, or service tasks, this keeps completion and invoicing linked in one place.
