Scheduler Overview
View team schedules, manage unplanned work, and organise tasks from one live planning screen.
Introduction
This video gives an overview of the Einsys Scheduler and shows how managers and company admins can use it to plan work, assign tasks, and see what the team is working on.
The Scheduler brings planned work, unplanned tasks, team lanes, filters, folders, and overdue work into one connected view.
What the video shows
- Open Scheduler.
- Use View task owner to switch between task owners and see the schedule for the selected person or team view.
- Use Day view, Week view, or Month view depending on how you want to plan work.
- Switch between 24H and Work Hours to show either the full day or only the working hours relevant to your team.
- Use the top filters to focus on the right tasks, status, or team members.
- Star key coworkers so you can quickly filter and focus on the people you manage most often.
- Use the Unplanned Tasks panel on the right side to manage work that still needs to be scheduled.
- Drag a work item from Unplanned Tasks into a worker's lane to assign and schedule it visually.
- Drag a scheduled work item back into Unplanned Tasks when priorities change or the work needs to be planned later.
- Create folders inside Unplanned Tasks to group work items by customer, project, department, or type of work.
- Use the Uncompleted Work Items section to keep unfinished and overdue work visible.
Why this matters
The Scheduler gives managers a clear view of team workload, planned work, and outstanding tasks.
Instead of managing work across separate lists, calendars, and notes, teams can schedule, delegate, move, group, and track work from the same screen.
This makes daily planning easier, helps managers react when priorities change, and keeps important work visible until it is completed.
The Einsys Scheduler is built for teams managing projects, tasks, operations, and daily work at scale.
